Psychological Principles of Counselling

The objectives of the ICM Level 5 Diploma in the Psychological Principles of Counselling are to:

• Provide Learners with knowledge and understanding of the application of counselling psychology theories to everyday life.
• Provide the knowledge and understanding essential for Learners to progress onto other counselling qualifications and subsequently a career in counselling.
• Provide opportunities for Learners to understand the techniques and personal attributes that
  effective counsellors require.
