Psychological Principles of Counselling
Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Graduate Diploma in Maritime Management are being withdrawn. The last available series to sit the assessment for these qualifications is December 2024.
Programme Objectives:
The objectives of the ICM Level 5 Diploma in the Psychological Principles of Counselling are to:
- Provide Learners with knowledge and understanding of the application of counselling psychology theories to everyday life.
- Provide the knowledge and understanding essential for Learners to progress onto other counselling qualifications and subsequently a career in counselling.
- Provide opportunities for Learners to understand the techniques and personal attributes that
effective counsellors require.
