As Kenya accelerates its transition toward a skills-based and innovation-driven economy, the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), in partnership with the State Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), on 14th October convened the 2025 National TVET Career & Employment Summit for Coastal Region at the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic, Mombasa. Held under the theme “Bridging Skills and Opportunities: Reimagining TVET for the Future of Work,”
Presided over by the Principal Secretary for the State Department for TVET, Dr. Esther Muoria, the Summit brought together over 1,000 stakeholders from industry, academia, government, and development partners.
The ICM Awarding Organisation, Regional Director Africa, Mr. Kevin Kanisio Osundwa joined panellist lead by Mrs. Bibiana TVETA Director Accreditation, Dr Joseph Kanyi TVET industry linkage, Mr Tuwei Director TVET Project & partnership, Dr Bulimo KNQA and Mr. Kevin Gikunda CEO E-mobility among others to deliberate on how Kenya’s TVET ecosystem can better respond to emerging opportunities in the blue, green and digital economies.
