The Examining and Awarding Managers tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
Job Description:
· Manage the Examiner marking cycle including important dates to ensure Examiner deadlines are maintained.
· Lead examiner recruitment to include issuing job advertisements, monitoring the jobs inbox, checking applications, right to work status and reference checking.
· Produce, issue and track Examiner contracts.
· Act as a point of administrative contact and support for Centres escalated by Examinations Officers and Chief Executive Officer.
Personal Specification:
· Relevant experience of Principal Examiner roles/standardisation processes
· Sound understanding and experience of assessment and Quality Assurance processes and procedures
· Degree or equivalent experience
· Ability to be analytical and objective
· Ability to be innovative and solution-focused
