Project Management and Resource Mobilisation

ICM Professional Diploma Unit

Project Management and Resource Mobilisation aims to develop Learners’ advanced understanding of project management, resource mobilisation and partnership working in community development contexts. Learners will critically examine the project lifecycle, including identification, planning, implementation, risk management, monitoring, evaluation and sustainability, alongside strategies for mobilising financial, human, material and institutional resources.

The unit also explores fundraising, proposal development, donor engagement, stakeholder participation, partnership governance, accountability and ethical practice. On completion, Learners will be able to analyse complex project challenges, apply appropriate management and mobilisation tools and evaluate partnership-based approaches to sustainable community development and social change.

This unit forms part of the Community Development and Social Change Qualification.

Example Candidate Response Booklet

Example Candidate Response (ECR) Booklets are a source of crucial information for Centres and Candidates as they use real candidate responses. We ask Senior Examiners to comment on five or more responses in terms of why the mark was awarded with commentary about how to improve the answer (if necessary).
