Environmental Communication and Community Engagement aims to equip Learners with the ability to understand and apply the fundamental concepts of communication and community education in environmental contexts. Learners recognise the importance of effective communication, community participation and educational approaches in promoting environmental awareness, behaviour change and positive environmental action. Upon successful completion, Learners have an informed awareness of communication processes, community learning methods and their application to environmental work with individuals, groups and communities. This unit forms part of the ICM Level 3 Environmental Science Professional Qualification.
