Competency Based Qualification

Digital Media Tool in Interior Design II

Certificate in Interior Design (KNQF)

Unit Aim

This unit aims to provide Learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills of fundamental 3D drawing and modeling concepts essential for interior design. Learners develop spatial awareness, learn to navigate 3D modelling software and apply basic techniques to create accurate interior spaces and objects. This unit covers materials, texturing, lighting and rendering processes, enabling Learners to produce simple yet effective visualisations for design communication. The unit focuses on practical application, creativity and technical skills to support design development, client presentations and portfolio building, preparing Learners for advanced visualisation tasks in interior design practice.
